Admission in First Year of Diploma Engineering Courses:
Admission to all the courses are subject to granting of Affiliation by CSVTU, Bhilai and are regulated by the Ordinance of the University and guidelines framed by the Admission & Fee Regulatory Committee of the State.
Admission Procedure:
Admissions to all the courses are conducted through Central Online Counseling administered by Directorate of technical Education, Government of Chhattisgarh. The dates and other details of such counselling are displayed through advertisement in local newspapers as well as their official website www.cgdteraipur.ac.in
The cultural committee works to promote talents of students by encouraging them to take part in extracurricular activities The Committee plans, schedules, organizes, and conduct cultural and other important events at the intra and inter collegiate level.
The Examination cell is manned by one member from each branch including one from the 1st year and headed by one senior most member working as Examination controller. The cell liaises with the university and other government bodies to ensure examination are held as per schedule. They maintain proper coordination and communication with management, faculty members, accounts department and students for the smooth conduct of the examinations (both internal and external). They also ensure that the reports and returns are sent in time to the authorities concerned
The main role of the Governing body is to decide the policy and the overall strategy for achieving the vision and mission of the polytechnic college. The governing body approves the annual budget of the college. They approve the HRD policy of college for the faculty members and the staff of the college. The Governing body meets every quarter.
A Grievance Cell has been constituted for the redressal of the problems reported by the Students of the College to ensure harmonious and an environment which is without fear and intimidation to the students. It tries to establish an environment where fresh students feel comfortable and at ease to come to the college. The cell tries to ensure strife free atmosphere in the College through promoting and fostering cordial Student-Student relationship and Student-teacher relationship etc.
Before the start of the semester the team has to make sure that the sufficient books for the semester are available in the library, if not then get then they get the list from the library. They review the functioning of the library and take steps to improve it.
The committee has to check whether the class rooms and laboratory equipments are in proper working condition or not. They identify the requirements for the new equipments and help in their procurement.
The Student Welfare Council (SWC) serves as a platform where all members of the Student Welfare Committee meet and come together to table, address, advice and execute matters pertaining to students, be it academic or administrative in nature. The committee recommends on policies relating to students welfare (students experience) to monitor and ensure that One Stop Centre at Student Welfare Committee level is being implemented effectively. It has four members from the faculty and the office bearers of the students union. The committee ensures smooth conduct of students union election. Meetings are held every month in a semester.
Training and Placement Cell is an integral and important part of Mansa Polytechnic College. It is not enough to educate the students and make them knowledgeable but we firmly believe, it's our responsibility to ensure that they are put on the right path of becoming valuable citizens and diligent engineers/ managers in the industry. The college is proud to have a vibrant training and placement cell which has the privilege of doing this for its students. The cell takes care of honing the minds of our students to face the competitive world with desired skills, courage and confidence.
Our pioneering efforts have borne fruits in achieving academic-industrial rapport and we are proud that our students are absorbed by leading and reputed giants in the industrial firmament. The placement cell coordinates with the corporate sector and provides well developed infrastructure to facilitate the campus recruitment drives. The cell is designed to function with a high degree of professionalism. Indeed, we have been appreciated more often by the industrial houses for such special feature embedded in our work philosophy. In this context, our Training Placement Cell is doing a commendable job since inception.
We strongly feel that all round development of the students is very necessary to make them successful managers. To achieve this we develop and nurture cordial relationship with the Industries and also invite them for organizing technicalseminars, workshops and other technical sessions.This enriches the knowledge base of students' with the latest technological innovations and industry practices.

The college started NSS in the year 2014. The program officer is Mr. Kamlesh Dewangan. It organizes various social activities such as blood donation camps, tree plantation drive, run for unity and voting awareness programs, and conducts many other service activities.
The Cell is responsible for looking into complaints filed by students & staff about sexual harrassment at the college.The functions of the cell are to safeguard the rights of female students, female faculty and staff members and also to provide a platform for listening to their complaints. It tries also to equip them with the knowledge of their legal rights and redressal of their grievances and to facilitate speedy delivery of justice, meetings are organized regularly. The cell conducts seminars and lectures by specialists and eminent personalities regularly to gender sensitive the employees of the college and students with stress on women empowerment in general and sexual harassment in particulars.
Under the cell a comaplints committee headed by a senior female faculty member with more than half of the members being women is constituted. Appropriate complaint mechanism to ensure time bound treatment of complaints has been created.
